2. Data Processing & File Safety

When you upload an image, select a PDF, input text, or generate a password:

  • The file or text is loaded directly into your browser's local memory (`FileReader` / `ArrayBuffer`).
  • Processing, transformation, encoding, and compression take place exclusively on your local device.
  • No copies or fragments are sent across our network connections or stored in any remote database.
  • Once you refresh the browser tab or navigate away, memory allocated by your browser for that file is immediately released.

3. Local Storage Usage

ASToolHub uses the browser's `localStorage` API strictly for functional user preferences:

  • astoolhub_theme: Stores your visual theme preference (`dark` or `light`) so the site renders consistently on your subsequent visits without flickering.

We do not store personally identifiable information, session tokens, or behavioral trackers in `localStorage`.

4. Third-Party Advertising & Cookies

To maintain ASToolHub as a completely free service without paywalls or subscriptions, we display third-party advertisements (such as Google AdSense).
